This 4-hour program complies with the ILCOR 2016 consensus guidelines for CPR. It aims to train individuals to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and infants. It focuses on CPR training and use of AED. Suitable for workplace employees, general public or students seeking certification in CPR & AED. All participants will be provided with Lifesaver 101 certificate upon successful completion of the program. Valid for 3 years although lifesaver 101 recommends annual re- certification. Can be upgraded to HCP at the time of Registration. 

COURSE OUTLINE:

· Understand the role as a first Aider 

· Discuss personal safety and legalities concerning CPR.

· Learn to manage emergency situation and assess when to call 9-1-1

· Administer Adult, Child and Infant CPR and use AED Recognize and manage Medical emergencies 

· Learn how to recognize Shock and provide first aid to treat the cause

· Recognize and manage Heart Attack, Angina and Stroke

· Recognize and manage Choking for conscious and unconscious individuals

· Two-Rescuer CPR and AED

This first aid & cpr training is suitable for individuals working as part of health care team such as Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Dentists & Dental hygienists, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists or students or educators in health-related education programs. 

This program focuses on advanced resuscitation skills including Artificial Respiration, use of Bag Valve Mask (BVM), jaw thrust skill in head/spinal injury. This is a WSIB Regulation 1101 compliant course.

This course is for individuals who need basic information on first aid and CPR. This is a WSIB Regulation 1101 compliant course for workplaces with not more than 5 employees. This course is also suitable for people seeking training for educational and personal interests. The program includes CPR training for Adult (CPR level A), and Adult, Infant & Child casualties CPR level C) as well as use of automated external defibrillation (AED). The participants will be provided with a Lifesaver 101 certificate upon successful completion of the program.

This is a comprehensive course that teaches individuals how to respond and manage the emergency scene. It offers skills in CPR training and use of AED for Adult, Child and Infant casualties as well as prepares individuals in recognizing and treating life-threatening emergencies such as choking, profuse bleeding, anaphylaxis. This is a WSIB Regulation 1101 compliant course for workplaces with more than 5 employees. The participants will be provided with a Lifesaver 101 certificate upon successful completion of the program.

Online first aid COURSE OUTLINE:  

•Understand the role as a first Aider.
